Since 2019, Exotic World has set the standard for medical-grade silicone in South Africa. Because our toys are 100% Platinum-Cure Silicone, they are an investment in your pleasure. If you follow these three essential rules, your collection will remain in perfect condition for a lifetime.

1. The Golden Rule: Water-Based Lubricants Only

The purity of our silicone is what makes it safe, but it also means it is sensitive to the wrong chemicals.

• ONLY use high-quality, water-based lubricants.

• The Danger: Never use silicone-based, oil-based, or petroleum-based lubes. These contain chemicals that will react with your toy, causing the surface to "melt," pit, or degrade. To keep your toy smooth and safe, stick to water-based options only.

2. Storage: Prevent "Toy Migration"

Our silicone is chemically stable, but it is "too pure" to be stored with low-quality materials.

• The Danger of Non-Silicone Toys: Many cheap imports are labeled as silicone but are actually "Jelly" or TPE blends. These materials leach oils and chemicals.

• Do Not Mix: If a non-silicone or "fake" silicone toy touches an Exotic World toy, a chemical reaction called migration occurs. They will literally melt into each other, ruining both toys.

• The Solution: Always store your Exotic World toys separately. Do not let them touch toys from other brands or unknown materials. We recommend keeping each piece in its own breathable fabric bag to keep it pristine and dust-free.

3. Cleaning & Sterilization

Because our medical-grade silicone is 100% non-porous, it cannot harbor bacteria, making it the most hygienic material on the market.

• Daily Clean: Wash with warm water and a mild, unscented soap after every use.

• Professional Sterilization: Unlike cheap mass-produced toys, Exotic World toys can handle extreme temperatures. For total peace of mind, you can boil your toy in water for 3 minutes to achieve 100% sterilization.

• Dishwasher Safe: Our material is durable enough for the top rack of a dishwasher (ensure a gentle cycle without harsh abrasive detergents).
